updating!

i'm sorry we've been MIA for a little over a month now. things have been nuts! but, to make it up to you, here's strictly a photo update for you. :) enjoy what we've been up to lately.

it's seriously been a whirlwind of a year for us. we've loved & got married, and we've lost two very important people in both of our lives. ups and downs, i think this year i've learned more than any other year of my life. i'm so grateful for that. learning. now it's a new year, bring it on!

miss natalie, part II.

i'm currently in my second home in st. louis, mo. i've missed it so much here. it's gorgeous outside with a misty rain and we're looking at some snow tomorrow. on Christmas day. how perfect is that? on the plane ride over here, i couldn't hold off much longer, i'm just too proud of how this shoot went with natalie. i was an editing mad man. so, i've decided to spill the beans and show you more.

today's shoot was perfect! 

i had the afternoon off, and the pleasure to shoot miss natalie. not only is she absolutely beautiful on the outside, but the inside reflects it as well. i love having photogenic friends, she's absolutely a natural in front of the camera. 

(also, loving the christmas weather here in southern california aren't you? hahaha i hate it and i love it all at the same time)

anyways, here's a teaser of this lovely girl:

my husband, my brother, my sister, my brother-in-law and myself thought it would be a marvelous idea to take some updated photos of everyone together and collage them in a frame for my parents as a combined christmas gift. this photo shoot has been delayed because of weather, but thank god we live in southern california to where we can expect to have wondrous 80 degree weather not even a week away from christmas. 

so, today, we took it upon ourselves to be silly and not capture the boring, cock your head to the side and smile "sears" photos. we were ourselves, and lemme tell ya..it shows.

seriously, take a look at some of the photos that brought christmas cheer into my parents hearts this year.

new and improved!

i've been up since 7:30am this morning, on my day off, working on our website. it needed a make-over. i figured i'd start from scratch, and it took awhile, but i am proud of it none the less. although i don't have the funds to provide the mac-daddy suite of a website, from what i created today, with my limited resources, i am pleased with the outcome. it screams justin & i perfectly and it gives out pretty much everything you need to know about what we do. :)
