Hunter!

My friend Mica has the world's cutest nephew. I had to take advantage of this opportunity. He has the silliest personality for a 2 year old. Reminded me of my brother a lot, it made me smile. It was a very nice way to start off the spring time with its warm tones. Enjoy his cuteness!

A cheer-me-up photo shoot. Totally worked!

I've been having a terrible week, so I had this spontaneous idea to pick up my friend Mica and had random photo shoot in the middle of the canyon. No idea in mind, nothing in mind actually, we just picked up and left. It really cheered me up. Being complete fools in the middle of a field, that was literally 30 feet from the highway, everyone was staring as we had a personal picnic, sitting on an american flag and playing with a large bubble wand. I love my friends, they know exactly what to do to get my mind off of things. Enjoy our completely "off the wall" afternoon. :)

small world how we got hooked up with tania & geoff but we're glad things worked out the way they did! aaamazing couple, and totally sporting the ''off the wall'' humor that justin & i are all about. we had to double-take the situation and go "why haven't we met before?" because we clicked immediately. it was almost more of a hang out than an engagement session. you can seriously see how much they love each other the second you meet them.

we're so stoked we get to capture their big day!
we love you guys, we can't wait.

it's seriously been a whirlwind of a year for us. we've loved & got married, and we've lost two very important people in both of our lives. ups and downs, i think this year i've learned more than any other year of my life. i'm so grateful for that. learning. now it's a new year, bring it on!

miss natalie, part II.

i'm currently in my second home in st. louis, mo. i've missed it so much here. it's gorgeous outside with a misty rain and we're looking at some snow tomorrow. on Christmas day. how perfect is that? on the plane ride over here, i couldn't hold off much longer, i'm just too proud of how this shoot went with natalie. i was an editing mad man. so, i've decided to spill the beans and show you more.
